An exhibition of prints and collages by Christopher Brown
Join us for a glass of wine to celebrate the opening of our solo exhibition of Christopher Brown's work on Saturday 7th May 2011.
Christopher Brown was born in London in 1953. He attended the Royal College of Art where he was introduced to, and eventually assisted, Edward Bawden, the master of the linocut. It was Bawden who encouraged him to explore this medium.
Since then Christopher has exhibited at the Michael Parkin Gallery, The Royal Academy, The Fry Gallery, The Fine Art Society, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
“English Vernacular” represents my continuing interest in this country’s architecture, places, objects, people and animals. The intent is serious but often I can’t resist introducing an element of humour. Christopher Brown, April 2011.
Please join us for a glass of wine between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 7th May 2011 to celebrate the opening of the exhibition.
Best wishes,
Simon
